Tre Hobbs is the founder and CEO of Neighborhood Essentials (NE), and a legacy and equity applicant. Hailing from the Eastside of Detroit where police raids, poverty, trap spots and violence are commonplace, NE strives to empower minority neighborhoods. NE currently sells 3.5g jars of whole flower (Black Jefe: 28% THC) in California, and will be one of the first legal cannabis brands to hit the market in Detroit following it's legalization.

Eliza and Timo Espinoza are the co-founders of 4Geez Cannabis Brand, a legacy and social equity brand with roots dating as far back as the 1960’s. It’s purpose is to assure that legacy does not get erased from the ever-changing cannabis culture. Timo has over 30 years of experience sourcing flower and inherited a wide network of legacy farmers from his father, Tim Espinoza. Eliza Espinoza is a 1st generation Salvadorian, a daughter of refugees with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Together, Eliza and Timo solely operate 4Geez and their greater cannabis company, Seventh Wave. 4Geez currently has 2 4g whole flower SKU’s, an indoor (Animal Mintz X Kush Mintz: 26% THC) and an outdoor (Durban Poison THCV: 14% THC; high THCV).

A passionate baker, co-founder Anthony Jenkins began infusing his gourmet creations, providing a delicious and discreet stigma-free way to medicate. Fellow co-founder Cartier Jenkins, became passionate about cannabis cultivation/distribution and entered the industry as a broker after retiring from the Army. Together, the brothers began offering hand-crafted infused edibles and Next Level was born. Next Level has now expanded into infused coconut oil, and infused brown sugar, so their customers can take their own baking, cooking, and hot beverages to the Next Level.

Oakland native, Javier Armas is founder of Javier's Organics (JO), an Oakland Equity Cannabis Business and author of Budtender Education, a powerful book for Budtenders. JO works with a large network of Equity Cannabis businesses, those previously harmed by the war on drugs. JO also works with regenerative farms, utilizing living soil, a key component to a healthy world. JO is creating original publications on cannabis and will be releasing unique healthy cannabis products. JO is also on the leadership team of BALCA, and a member of both NCIA and CCIA.
